Paper Collective / 2024
Branch is a series of three illustrations we made for Paper Collective, in connection with our launch of the Duvet Lounge Chair for Wendelbo.
The collaboration together with the two danish brands, one specialised in arts and the other in furniture, created a playful and interdisciplinary partnership with our studio. Inspired by the slinking frame of the Duvet Lounge Chair, the collection of artworks stems from a site-specific installation.
The illustrations are based on our own design process and hand drawn sketches. In extension – an abstract visualisation of our creative process and how we communicate shapes and volumes.
For the installation at Wendelbo's show room in Copenhagen, four different unique artworks were handmade in screen printing on upholstery textile. Creating a delicate depth and contrast between the simple hand-drawn lines that twist and turn around one another, with the textured canvas.
The illustrations for Paper Collective are available in three different motifs and colours, in a wide range of sizes, printed on paper with 12 colour giclee print quality.
